Playful Melancholy

In recent endeavors, Shelby became increasingly worried about the political attacks against the LGBTQIA community, threatening the lives of her loved ones.

As the laws being passed by Florida state Governor, Ron Desantis are being approved, Trans and the queer community are subject to losing their jobs, loved ones, and children for being accepting of their own sexuality. She has begun a series called, “ Playful Melancholy”, an array of colorful multimedia pieces that directly address the current social and political uprising, in a playful manner.
